Sidewalk CPR.

I have taken CPR classes a couple of times.

Both times, I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do by the time the class ended.

30 - 2 - 15 - 2 - 2 breaths - pump - tilt head - be sure to do this - don't do this - 15 - 30 - 2.
All the information became a jumbled mess in my head.

Every since having kids, I've had a burden to really learn what to do in case of an emergency.
But, who has the time to sit somewhere for 6 hours to get certified?
So... the past 5 1/2 years I've just THOUGHT about learning it.

Until an emergency was nearly laid in front of me.
My own sweet boy.

NOW I HAD TO LEARN IT!

I organized a class at my church last week. My wonderful brother-in-law, who is a firefighter/paramedic came and taught a group of us (moms ~ dads ~ grandmas ~ grandpas).

Things have changed... no more crazy numbers to remember.

They are now teaching SIDEWALK CPR... so that people will just DO SOMETHING until emergency help arrives.

TWO STEPS TO KEEPING SOMEONE ALIVE:

1. Call 911.
2. Push hard & fast at the center of the chest.

They still do teach the 30-2 method; however, too many times they would arrive to an emergency and no one would be doing anything. People were too nervous to mess up. So... to at least get people doing something they came up with Sidewalk CPR.

Click here to learn more. It'll only take a minute.

YOU can save a life.
