why managing marbles

Have you ever heard the expression "herding cats?"

Well... I'm not really a cat person. I like cats, but I don't own them. I'll pet them, but I don't want them curling up on my lap. So... "herding cats" didn't seem to fit the bill. {even though that's what I feel like I'm doing most days with my 3 boys}

Marbles on the other hand... did. I like marbles, and we own A TON of them. At any given time you will find a few marbles in EVERY room of my house, not including the bin filled with them.  I thought managing marbles and herding cats went hand-in-hand.

Somedays I feel like I am managing my marbles fairly well, only a few will get away and end up in a corner.  Other days I feel like I'm about to "lose my marbles."

So... welcome to my little corner of the world where I am trying to manage my marbles and keep it together as best as I know how.
