The Great Communicator...

...was Ronald Reagan's nickname during his presidency. I learned this along with many other interesting facts on Friday, the 6th, when we took my dad to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. He has been wanting to go there for a while, so we gave him "A Day..." for Father's Day. It ended up being more interesting than I expected. As you'll see in the pictures Archer may beg to differ.

This made me LOL!!! Way to hang in there, bud. Count your blessings, at least you were small enough to be toted around.

Dear Archer,
I know the RR library was a bit of a snooze for you...but trust me. Soon there will be baloons and county fairs and corn dogs and the things that make life more rich and meaningful (like watching your Mom get cotton candy out of your hair). Dads like these history places. Think of it this way...you might be the first Cde Baca to have a major diaper incident in a presidential library and monument. I will save these for your first resume.
Love you,
Aunt Shan
