"Lullaby...

and good night. Go to sleep now, dear child...and big doggy and little doggy and horsey and whale and shark..."

Bedtime isn't so simple anymore... but it sure keeps one little boy happy.

So cute! Does he request each one by name? Or do they stay in the bed when he wakes up?

You would not believe what I come in to find Grace has pulled into her bed - yesterday it was a wagon and the ball blast. But she is also partial to her big blue blow up elephant - she's been known to drag it up into bed and then fall asleep upon it. The other item that affect bedtime, is her huge assortment of rubber duckies. She often likes to have them close to her at bedtime (or anytime really).

totally understand! after the "big girl" bed, nap time changed. i have actually resorted to rocking her (we'll see how long it lasts with a new baby!) but i never rocked her until now.
love the picture with all of his friends!
